is a song with lyrics that list various types of silk. The lyrics are common in genres such as Gosasori, Muga, Pansori, and Hwimorijapga. Although the title , , differ, according to genre, the content is consistent in its listing of silks. This study comprehensively examines the characteristics of in various genres and the correlation between them. First of all, the is divided into two types according to the lyrics. The first type of sung by Jeolgeolip-pae, a group of monks raising money for the construction of temples, include lyrics of about not only silks but also about exorcising evil. in Hwimorijapga belongs to this first classification. In the second type of sung by the Changwu group, the lyrics of a song include only silks. in Pansori and Muga belongs to this second classification. Each type of also shows musical similarities. The type of sung by Jeolgeolip-pae has common features: 1) no regular rhythm; 2) grace note with a long sound; and 3) the sound structure of 'sol, ra, do', re', mi', which shows the characteristics of the Gyeong-tori. However, the type of sung by the Changwu group has 1) the sound structure of mi, ra, si, do', re', mi'; 2) the metric structure of 3 sobak 4 bak; and 3) do'-si' in descending grace note, which shows the characteristics of the yukchabaegi-tori. Nonetheless, in Pansori and Muga has a more extended musical feature than the Changwu group's. In the conclusion, , which exists in Gosa-sori, Muga, Pansori, and Hwimorijapga, can be divided into two types exemplified by those sung by the Changwu group and Jeolgeolip-pae depending on their process of transmission, and thus the types of lyrics and music can be distinguished.

비단타령은 각종 비단의 종류를 엮어 부르는 노래로 고사소리, 무가, 판소리, 휘모리잡가라는 장르에서 공통적으로 보이는 사설 유형이다. 장르에 따라서 비단풀이, 비단가, 비단타령 등 제목의 차이를 보이지만 실제 내용은 각종 비단을 나열한다는 점에서 공통적이다. 이처럼 다양한 장르에 포진되어있는 이른바 비단 타령이 지닌 특징과 각각의 상관관계를 살펴 종합적으로 고찰해보았다. 먼저 비단타령 사설 성격을 기준으로 비단을 나열하는 사설과 귀신을 쫓는 사설이 합쳐진 절걸립패 비단타령형, 비단만을 나열하는 사설인 창우집단 비단타령형으로 나누었다. 판소리, 무가, 휘모리잡가 비단 타령 역시 절걸립패, 창우집단 비단타령형으로 분류할 수 있는데 휘모리잡가 비단타령은 절걸립패 비단타 령형에 속하고 무가와 판소리 비단타령은 창우집단 비단타령형에 속한다. 같은 사설 유형에 속하는 각각의 비단타령들은 음악적으로도 유사성을 보여준다. 절걸립패 비단타령 사설형은 일정한 장단이 없는 점, 꺾이는 음이 긴 음가를 가지는 점, ‘미, 솔, 라, 도′, 레′, 미′, 솔′, 라′’의 음으로 구성된 점이 공통적으로 나타난다. 선율 진행은 ‘레－솔’의 진행이 두드러지고 ‘미－레’, ‘라솔－레’, ‘시라－솔’ 등의 시김새가 공통적으로 등장한다. 이를 통해 경토리의 특징을 알 수 있다. 창우집단 비단타령 사설형은 출현음과 꺾는 시김새인 ‘도－시’, ‘라－미’의 요성 및 선율진행 등 육자백이토리의 모습이 공통적 으로 나타난다. 장단 역시 3소박 4박자 대마디 대장단으로 부른다. 다만 창우집단, 무가, 판소리 중에서 창우집단 비단타령의 음악적 특징이 교집합으로 나타나고 무가와 판소리 비단타령은 창우집단의 것보다 확장된 형태를 보인다. 이상으로 고사소리, 무가, 판소리, 휘모리잡가에서 모두 존재하는 비단타령은 전승 과정에 따라 절걸립 패, 창우집단으로 나눌 수 있고 이에 따라 사설 및 음악의 유형도 구분된다고 할 수 있다.
