COVID-19 brought non-face-to-face circumstances to our lives; zero contact was optional in the past but is inevitable now. In a pandemic situation, various programs are operated and supported by public bodies in the field of Korean traditional music. However, it is insufficient to resolve practical difficulties of artists and organizations. In this situation, we reviewed success cases of Golf Zone GDR Academy that achieved a growth in the golf industry by combining various technologies and performing business both in face to face way and in non face to face way before COVID-19 pandemic period. Refreshing a stage of Korean traditional music education by pursuing consumer’s satisfaction, I draw future path of social education in Korean traditional music; invigorating products (education, textbooks, musical instruments, performances), establishing policies led by private companies, organizing social education programs, adopting professional instructor certification system, and providing blended learning in face-to-face way as well as in non-face-to-face way.

코로나19는 그동안 선택이었던 비대면 기술을 필수로 만들었다. 팬데믹 상황에서 국악 분야는 공공부문을 중심으로 다양한 지원 프로그램을 운영하고 있으나 예술인, 예술 단체의 실질적 어려 움을 해결하기에는 역부족인 상황이다. 이러한 상황 속에서 코로나19 이전부터 다양한 기술을 접목하고 대면, 비대면을 병행함으로써 골프 분야 전반의 성장을 견인한 골프존 GDR아카데미의 성공 사례를 점검하고 수요자 욕구를 중심으로 한 교육 방향의 전환을 기반으로 연계상품 활성화 (교육, 교재, 악기, 공연), 민간 기업이 주도하는 정책 방향의 수립, 국악 사회교육 프로그램 체계화 및 전문 강사 인증제의 도입과 마지막으로 대면, 비대면을 아우르는 블렌디드 러닝(Blended Learning)과 같은 국악 분야 사회교육에서의 미래방향을 도출하였다.
