This study was purposed to analyze the effectiveness of juvenile- restorative Justice program in probation level conducted by the Ministry of Justice. In 2019, the Ministry of Justice led its own program for the training program of restorative, and the program consisted of activities to change the concept of self-interest, victim empathy, shame, responsibility, and community which are the main values of the restorative justice. a total of 109 students participated in the program in 12 probation offices. As a result of conducting pre-post surveys on the subjects, 80 valid survey results were available for analysis. The pared t-test was used to examine the changes in key concepts resulting from participation in the restorative justice program, and multivariate regression analysis was used to examine factors affecting crime deterrence. According to the t-test results, there was significant change in victim empathy and attachment to probation officers after restorative justice program, and the score of positive perception of the situation was improved through the program. Regression analysis confirmed that empathy for victims and attachment to probation had a significant effect on recidivism control. Specific findings and their implications are specifically addressed in the main context.

본 연구는 법무부에서 진행된 보호관찰 단계의 소년대상 회복 적 사법의 효과성을 분석하기 위한 목적으로 시작되었다. 2019 년 법무부에서는 소년대상 회복적 사법 교육 진행을 위하여 자 체적으로 프로그램을 제작하였고, 해당 프로그램은 회복적 사법 의 주요가치 중 자기이해, 피해자 공감, 수치심, 책임감, 공동체 의식의 변화를 주기 위한 활동으로 구성되었다. 109명의 학생이 해당 프로그램에 참여하였고, 대상자들에게 사전-사후 조사를 실시한 결과 80명의 유효한 조사 결과를 분석에 활용할 수 있었 다. 회복적 사법 프로그램 참여로 인한 주요 개념의 변화를 살피 기 위해 paired t-test를 활용하였고, 범죄억제력에 영향을 미치 는 요인을 살피기 위하여 다변량 회귀분석을 활용하였다. t-test 결과에 따르면 사전-사후 조사시 피해자 공감과 보호관찰관에 대한 애착에 변화가 발생하였고, 회복적 사법을 통해 상황에 대 한 긍정적 인식 점수가 향상되었다. 회귀분석 결과 피해자에 대 한 공감과 보호관찰관에 대한 애착이 재범억제력에 유의미한 영 향을 미침을 확인하였다. 구체적인 연구 결과와 그 함의는 본문에서 구체적으로 다루도록 한다.
