Nowadays, universities are actively utilizing online classes due to changes in the paradigm of learner-centered teaching and learning methods. In this study, we explored the excellent learner competence and behavioral indicators through competency modeling to support successful learning activities in online class environments where active roles are required. Capacity means the ability required to perform a specific activity. The purpose of this study is to identify the competence of the excellent online class learners in the college of education in order to find out what abilities and qualities learners should have to complete their studies successfully in the online class environment. Capability modeling was conducted in the order of data collection, competency extraction and model development, validation work, final modification and model completion. For data collection, 17 excellent learners were interviewed in the online classes of three colleges in J area. This was done through interviews and in-depth interviews with five experts. The competencies model was completed through confirmatory factor analysis and content validity verification by experts based on the questionnaire data of 156 online students from three colleges of education. The results of the study showed that the three colleges of education have five competency such as learning orientation competency, feedback competency, cooperative interaction competency, meta cognitive and knowledge structure competency, and leading learning management competency. This study is meaningful in that it deepened the understanding of online class learners as part of the study on the competence of excellent online class in the college of education, and it will contribute to the establishment of various support systems for successful academic performance of online class learners in the future.

요즘 대학은 학습자 중심의 교수·학습 방법 패러다임의 변화로 온라인 수업을 적 극적으로 활용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에 서는 능동적인 역할이 요구되는 온라인 수 업환경에서 성공적인 학습활동을 지원하기 위하여 역량 모델링을 통하여 우수한 학습 자 역량과 행동 지표를 탐색하였다. 역량은 특정 활동을 수행하기 위해 요구 되는 능력을 의미한다. 사범대학 온라인 수업 우수 학습자의 역량을 밝히는 것은 온라인 수업환경에서 학습자가 성공적으로 학습을 마치기 위해 갖춰야 하는 능력이나 자질이 무엇인가를 밝혀준다는 점에서 의 의가 있다. 역량 모델링은 자료 수집, 역량 추출 및 모형 개발, 타당화 작업, 최종 수 정 및 모형완성의 순서로 진행되었다. 자료 수집을 위해 J 지역 3개 사범대학 의 온라인 수업 수강생 중 우수 학습자 17 명을 대상으로 행동사건 면담을 진행하였 다. 이는 전문가 5명을 대상으로 행동사건 면담과 심층 면접을 통해 이루어졌다. 도 출된 역량모형은 3개 사범대학 온라인 수 강생 156명의 설문자료에 기초하여 확인적 요인분석과 전문가들의 내용 타당도 검증 을 거쳐 완성되었다. 연구 결과, 3개 사범대학 학습자 역량모 형은 ‘학습지향성 역량’, ‘피드백 역 량’, ‘협동적 상호작용 역량’, ‘메타인 지 · 지식 구조화 역량’, ‘주도적 학습 관리 역량’등 다섯 개의 역량이 최종적으 로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 사범대학 온라 인 수업 우수 학습자 역량 연구의 일환으 로 온라인 수업 학습자에 대한 이해를 심 화하였다는 점에서 의미가 있으며, 향후 온라인 수업 학습자의 성공적 학업 수행을 위한 다양한 지원체계를 구축하는데 기여 할 수 있을 것이다.
