The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of ICT technology in the 4th industrial revolution era on the sports industry and apply it to the Taekwondo field to cope with future chanfes and suggests a leading role and direction for development. This research method analyzed the impact of the 4th industrial revolution technology on the sports field through literature search and systematic data collection, and applide Big data, IoT, AI and VR among ICT technologies to the Taekwondo field. In order to cope with the changes in the times, taekwondo promoted technical and cultural development and derived specific measures to actively attract consumers related to Taekwondo.

본 연구는 4차 산업 혁명시대의 ICT 기술이 스포츠 산업에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 태권도 분야에 적용 해 태권도가 미래 변화에 대처하고 주도적인 역할 및 발전 방향을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구방법은 문헌검색 및 체계적인 자료 수집을 통해서 4차 산업혁명 기술이 스포츠 분야에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석했다. 특히, ICT기술 중 빅 데이터(Big Data), 사물인터넷(IOT), 인공지능(AI), 가상현실(VR) 등을 태권도 분야에 적용 해 봄으로써 시대적 변화에 맞춰서 태권도가 기술·문화적 발전을 도모하고 태권도 관련 수요자를 적극 유인할 수 있는 구체적인 방안을 제시하였다.
