This study investigated how undergraduate students’ gender sensitivities influence on perception of sexual violence in positions of power imbalance with providing questionnaires contain scenarios described sexual violence in positions of power imbalance, and sub-questions. Scenario ‘A’ and ‘B’ consisted of a situation with a boss asking to have sexual intercourse with a junior temporary employee, who did several times after refusing to do so. Participants answered the degree of victim’s responsibility, certainty for guilty judgment, victim’s suffering, and sentencing on criminalization after reading each scenario. Scenario ‘C’ and ‘D’ were added to verify the reliability of the scenarios used. They described child sexual violence by authority figure cases in which anyone would understand victim’s suffering, and not blaming victim. To explore, participants from university in Kyonggi, who attended for liberal art lecture, were asked to read scenarios(two for sexual violence in positions of power imbalance and two for child sexual crime), and to fill in the questionnaire, which contains a gender sensitivity scale. The results showed that the gender sensitivity had statistically significant influences on the degree of victim’s responsibility, victim’s suffering, and sentencing in criminalization concerning scenario ‘A’ and ‘B’. Furthermore, no statistical effect of gender sensitivity on child sexual violence by authority figure for checking reliability were found. In conclusion, educational implications, and significance of the study were discussed, and recommendations for future research were suggested.

본 연구는 대학생의 성인지 감수성이 위력 성폭력 사건 인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 위력 성폭력 내용의 시나리오를 구성하여 하위질문을 실시하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 시나리오의 내용은 인사권을 가진 상급자가 비정규직인 하급자에게 성관계를 요구하는 것으로 하급자는 이를 거부하다가 수차례 성관계를 갖는 내용으로 구성되었다. 연구 참여자에게 시나리오를 보여주고 위력 성폭력에 대해 법적 근거에 따른 피해자 책임 정도, 유죄확신 정도, 피해자의 고통 정도, 가해자에 대한 양형 정도를 응답하게 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 소재 종합대학에서 교양수업을 듣는 대학생 329명이 참여하였고, 성인지 감수성 척도와 위력 성폭력에 대한 시나리오 2개, 아동 성폭력 시나리오 2개를 제시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 성인지 감수성은 시나리오 ’A’와 ’B’에서 피해자의 책임 정도, 고통 정도, 형량부과에 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 성인지 감수성의 신뢰도를 확인하기 위하여 제시한 위계에 의한 아동 성폭력에서 성인지 감수성은 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 의의를 정리하고 추후 연구에 대해 제언하였다.
