The Ministry of Education in Korea is going to carry out the 5th Competence Diagnosis of Teacher Training Institute to increase the quality of prospective teacher education. Therefore the department of Christian education should consider the aspect of educational fields with the instruction for prospective Religion teacher. Prospective Religion teachers need to cultivate their instructional competence of related with their major and teacher educational courses. This article explores the strategies on the cultivation of the instructional competence of Religion subject in order to improve the quality of the prospective Religion teachers. The instructional competence of Religion subject is discussed based on the design, progression and method of instruction. The teaching competence of Religion subject is discussed as the innate ability as well as the cultivated capability of education related to the teaching Religion subject in aspect of Christian education. This article discusses that prospective religion teacher as learner is created being according to God’s image, rational being and special being distinguished with God’s creatures. This paper discusses that God gives the prospective religion teachers appropriate competence and their abilities that can be cultivated. The strategies of cultivation on instructional competence of religion subject are such as Project Method with learner self plan and practice, practical experience such as observation on high school classroom and tour of Christian schools, simulated teaching experience as real classroom situation, and planning unit lesson of Religion subject. Prospective religion teachers are able to carry out their instruction of Religion subject with the work of Holy Spirit in teaching–learning process. Christian educators need to lean work of the Holy Spirit and help of God in teaching-learning process of Religion subject so that prospective Religion teacher can be prepared with competent teacher.

본 연구는 우리나라 교육부가 예비교사교육의 질을 높이기 위하여 ‘5 주기 교원 양 성 기관 역량진단’을 실시하고자 하는 시점에 종교교사를 양성하는 기독교교육과에서 의 수업운영을 탐구하는 것이다. 예비종교교사들은 전공 및 교직이수 과정에서 현장 과 연계된 수업역량의 향상이 필요하게 되었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 예비종교교사 의 종교교과 수업역량을 함양하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 것으로 종교교과, 종교교과 수업, 수업 역량에 대하여 서술하고 종교교과 수업 역량이란 종교교과의 특성 및 내 용을 교수자의 입장에서 학습자에게 수업 수행을 할 수 있는 개인 본래의 능력과 교 육을 통하여 개발된 능력임을 논의한다. 기독교교육의 관점에서 학습자는 창조주 하 나님의 형상을 따라 창조된 자이고, 합리적인 존재, 다른 피조물과 구별된 독특한 존 재이다. 예비종교교사로서의 학습자는 하나님으로부터 적합하고 필요한 능력을 받은 존재이다. 학습자의 잠재적인 역량은 하나님께서 주시는 능력 안에서 개발되는 것이 다. 예비교사로서의 학습자는 하나님께서 주신 독특한 역량 혹은 능력을 지니고 있기 에 교육을 통하여 그의 잠재적인 능력이 개발된다. 본 연구는 예비교사의 종교교과 수업능력을 함양하기 위한 구체적인 방안을 제시한다: 학습자 스스로 계획을 세우고 실천하는 프로젝트 학습 활용, 고교수업참관 및 기독교학교현장 탐방을 통한 실제적경험, 이론적 지식을 현장감 있는 수업상황으로 나타내는 모의수업, 학습자로 하여금 의미 있는 지식을 구성하도록 하기 위한 자기반성 활동, 기독교적 세계관에 근거한 종교 교과 수업안 작성. 예비종교교사는 교수 학습 과정에서 성령님이 역사하심과 하 나님의 도우심을 믿고 그 도움을 의지할 때 참다운 예비교사로서 그리고 미래의 종 교교사로서의 사역을 능력 있게 수행할 수 있음을 논의한다.
