The purpose of this study is to develop a ‘self-discovery’ psychodrama model applying the ‘nine layers of the self-discovery process’ presented in Enneagram and to examine its effectiveness through application of cases. In order to examine the effectiveness of the psychodrama model for self-discovery, an experimental group and a control group of seven elementary school teachers were selected. A total of 10 psychodrama group counseling sessions were conducted for two groups of 2 sessions each day for 5 days from July 31, 2019 to August 6, 2019. Pre and post tests were conducted and analyzed by using the burnout scale to confirm the positive effects on the psychological burnout of elementary school teachers. The research results are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in pre-post burnout within the experimental group after the ‘self-discovery’ psychodrama. Second, there was a significant difference in burnout between the experimental and control groups after the ‘self-discovery’ psychodrama.

본 연구의 목적은 에니어그램에서 제시한 ‘자아발견과정의 아홉 개 층’을 적용한 ‘자아발견’ 심리극 모델을 제시하고 사례 적용을 통하여 효과성을 알아보는 것이다. 에니어그램은 자아 발견의 9가지 층을 1단계인 ‘습관적인 자아이미지’부터 9단계 ‘개인을 넘어 우주로 존재하기’ 로 설명하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 영성을 주로 다루는 8, 9단계를 제외한 1∼7단계의 과정을 심리극을 통해 행위화하는 과정을 제시하고 설명하였다. 자아발견을 위한 심리극 모델의 효 과성을 살펴보기 위하여 초등교사 7명씩으로 구성된 실험군과 대조군을 선정하였다. 실험군 을 대상으로 2019년 7월31 ∼ 2019년 8월6일 5일간 각 회기 120분간 매일 2회기씩 총 10회기 심리극 집단상담을 실시하였다. 초등교사의 심리적 소진에 긍정적 영향을 미치는지 확인하기 위하여 소진 척도를 활용하여 사전․사후 검사를 진행하고 분석하였다. 집단 내 사전-사후 점수의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test를 실시하였으며, 집단 간 사후 결 과 분석에 Man-Whitney U Test를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘자아발견’ 심리 극 실시 후 실험군 집단 내 사전-사후 소진에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, ‘자아발견’ 심리 극 실시 후 실험군과 대조군 집단 간 소진에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 추후 연구에 대한 제언이 논의되었다.
