This study examined the effects of performance perception and satisfaction on the Behavioral intention and support of mega sport events of basic local government officials’For this study, a total of 258 questionnaires were secured using the purposeful sampling for officials in charge of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and Paralympics. And Selected data analyzed by SPSS Window ver. 24.0 for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and simple regression analysis. The conclusion is as follows. First, the performance perception of mega-sports events by basic local government officials has a positive effect on satisfaction. Second, the performance perception of basic local government officials had a positive effect on Behavioral intention. Third, the satisfaction of basic local government officials had a positive effect on behavioral intention. Fourth, the satisfaction of basic local government officials had a positive effect on support. Lastly, the behavioral intention of basic local government officials was found to have a positive effect on support. We further have no doubt that the findings in this study would be more likely to help promote basic local government officials volitional participation and increase their interests into mega-sport events. 본 연구는 기초지자체 공무원의 메가스포츠이벤트에 대한 성과인식과 만족도가 행동의도 및 지지도에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 2018 평창동계올림픽과 패럴림픽 관련 업무담당부서의 공무원으로 유목적표집법 (purposeful sampling)을 이용하여 258부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS Windows ver 24.0 프로그램 을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석 및 단순회귀분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 기초 지자체 공무원의 메가스포츠이벤트에 대한 성과인식은 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기초지자 체 공무원의 성과인식은 행동의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기초지자체 공무원의 만족도는 행동의 도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기초지자체 공무원의 만족도는 지지도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 기초지자체 공무원의 행동의도는 지지도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 메가스포 츠 이벤트의 성공적 개최를 위하여 기초지자체 공무원의 많은 관심과 참여가 이루어지길 기대해 본다.
