This study was conducted to examine the dual mediating effect of career belief and intrinsic motivation in the relationship between the parents’ psychological control and Vocational Adaptability. The subjects were 283 4-year university students in G Metropolitan City and J Province and the tools of research were the parents’ psychological control, career belief, intrinsic motivation, and vocational adaptability scales. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SPSS Macro. As a result, it was found that career belief showed a significant mediating effect on the relation between the parents’ psychological control and vocational adaptability, but intrinsic motivation’s mediating effect was not significant. Also, career belief and intrinsic motivation had a dual mediating effect on the relationship between the parents' psychological control and vocational adaptability. As a result of testing the significance of the mediating effect through Bootstrapping, career belief and intrinsic motivation had a significant mediating effect. In other words, the psychological control of parents was affecting career response through career belief and inner motivation sequentially. These findings would provide useful fundamental data to provide university students with in-depth and substantial support through career counseling when they have difficulties with vocational adaptability.

이 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제와 진로적응성의 관계에서 진로신념 과 내적동기의 이중매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대학생 G광역시와 J도 소재 4년제 대학생 285명이었으며, 측정도구는 부모의 심리적 통제, 진로신념, 내적동 기, 진로적응성 척도를 사용하였고 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0과 SPSS Macro를 사용하였 다. 연구결과, 부모의 심리적 통제와 진로적응성의 관계에서 진로신념은 유의한 매개효 과를 나타냈으나, 내적동기의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 또한 진로신념과 내적동기 는 부모의 심리적 통제와 진로적응성의 관계에서 이중매개효과를 나타냈다. 부트스트 래핑(Bootstrapping)을 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 검정한 결과, 진로신념과 내적동기 의 이중매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부모의 심리적 통제는 진로신념과 내적 동기를 순차적으로 거쳐서 진로적응성에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 진로상담 장면에서 진로적응에 어려움을 호소하는 대학생들에게 심층적이고 실질적인 도움을 제공하는데 유용한 기초자료가 될 것이다.
