Movie heroines’ hairstyles, fashion, makeup, and roles have significant influence on people in modern society. Considering that a coat that a leading lady wears sell like hotcakes the next day, it is no exaggeration to say that modern women get vicarious satisfaction or are unrealistically self-contented by movie stars with Korean communications technology and economy have development. people can enjoy Hollywood movies at home, global actresses’ fashion or hairstyles and thay are no longer just objects of envy but styles that people can try. In modern society, individual blogs or Internet cafes share party looks or celebrities’ styles from different film festivals or events with easy-to-follow videos or photos on their fashion, hairstyles, and makeup. Furthermore, the development of hair beauty technology for dyeing, perming, and cutting has enabled styling like international actresses. Accordingly, the researcher studied updo hairstyles of Hollywood actress Jennifer Shrader Lawrence with 6 movies that she starred in to create research work. 4 hairstyles in her movies and 2 hairstyles at awards ceremonies were represented on mannequins; for updo hairstyles, design techniques such as rolling, braiding, twisting, and leaving a few strands were used, and mostly wavy hairstyles were created using hair irons. As a result, this research revealed that they could be used in various ways for hair designing. It is also considered that they could be suggested as and applied for natural and simple updo hairstyles satisfying different customer needs at hair salons.

현대사회에서 영화에 나오는 여주인공의 헤어스타일이나 패션, 메이크업, 맡은 역할 등 의 파급력은 매우 크다. 여주인공이 입은 코트가 이튿날 불티나게 매진되는 것을 보면 영화에 비친 여주인공은 현대여성들의 대리만족, 또는 비현실적이지만 자기만족을 느낀 다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이제는 우리나라도 할리우드 영화를 안방에서 바로 공유 할 수 있을 만큼의 통신과 경제적인 발달로 인하여 여배우의 패션이나 헤어스타일 은 선망의 대상이 아닌 내가 할 수 있는 스타일이 되었다. 현대에서 개인 블로그나 카페에서 각종 영화제 나 행사에 참석한 여자 연예인 의 패션, 헤어스타일, 메이크업을 따라하기 식의 동영상이나 사진들을 통해 파티룩이나 배우의 스타일을 공유하는 것을 볼 수가 있다. 또한 미용의 발달로 칼라, 펌, 컷. 등 앞서가는 기술로 외국 여배우의 스타일 연출은 얼마든지 가능한 수준에 도달하였다. 이에 본 연구자는 미국의 할리우드 여배우인 제니퍼 로렌스(jennfer shrader rawrense)를 기준으로 하여 그녀가 나온 영화에서 선보였던 업스타일 작품 6가지를 선정하여 작품 제작을 하였다. 영화에 나온 스타일 3작품과 시상 식에서 선보였던 작품 2가지를 실제 마네킹에 재연하였고, 업스타일 디자인에서는 업스 타일의 기법인 롤, 땋기, 꼬기, 빼기, 기법 등을 이용하였고. 아이론을 이용하여 웨이브 스타일을 이용한 세미 업스타일 위주의 작품을 제작하였다. 연구결과 디자인 연출에 다양 하게 응용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 살롱 현장에서 고객들의 다양한 니즈(Needs)에서도 내추럴 하면서 심플한 업스타일에 대응할 수 있는 유형으로 제시되고 응용될 것으로 사료된다.
