The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect and meaning of the storytelling technique of comic book content for children. The main contents of this study were as follows. First, we looked at the characteristics of the composition by dividing the composition of contents on each layer in order to analyze it at the macro level. Second, the method and meaning of storytelling developed around lifelong narratives are reinterpreted as follows: 1) succession of heroic journey storytelling technique, 2) technique and meaning of storytelling using 'summary' and 'scene', 3) Storytelling techniques and effects. As a result of the study, it was found that this book reveals the characteristics of edutainment contents storytelling by using various elements.

이 논문의 목적은 동학을 주요 소재로 다루고 있는 아동 대상 만화책 콘텐츠의 스토리텔링 기법의 분석을 통해 그 효과와 의미를 다각도에서 조망하는 것이다. 이 연구의 주된 내용은 다음과 같았다. 첫 번째는 콘텐츠의 구성을 거시적인 차원에서 분석하기 위해 각각의 층위로 나누어 구성의 특징을 살펴보았다. 두 번째는 생애 내러티브를 중심으로 전개되는 스토리텔링의 기법과 의미를 다시 1) 영웅 여정 스토리텔링 기법의 계승, 2) ‘요약’과 ‘장면’활용 스토리텔링의 기법과 의미, 3) 이미지 묘사 및 배치의 스토리텔링 기법과 효과로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구의 결과로 『WHO? 한국사 조선시대 최제우·최시형』이 다양한 요소를 활용하여 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 스토리텔링의 특성을 드러내고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
