The Industrial Education Training Status and Practical Model of Training Curriculum Programing for Productivity Improvement in Korean Small-Medium Manufacturing Firm

This study analysed the recent status of industrial training in the korean small-medium manufacturing firm.My study showed that the firm has invested 0.11% of annual sales for industrial training during the period between 2002 and 2003. According to the recent survey of industrial training, the fields to put the great emphasis on the industrial training inside the firm are production management field(31.1%), a special subject of technology(25.5%), moral education(18.6%), IT application education(11.4%), marketing field(9.8%), financial management(6.9%), personnel management(4.6%).According to the analysis of industrial training`s expenditures, the firm invested 11 million won amount per firm and 173,200 won amount per person.The purpose of this study is find out the problems and the better solution of industrial training. I suggested the practical curriculum programming model and training method for developing the job competency of employees and thus improving productivity.
