In order to maximize the effectiveness of the field practice program, it is necessary to identify how to cope with job stress, which is the biggest constrain in tourism business. Thus, the purpose of this study is to determine the basis for a program that can reduce stress effectively and improve satisfaction by identifying the influence of the perceived emotional intelligence on job stress and satisfaction by tourism major students. A total of 310 usable questionnaires for tourism major students who completed field practice programs were analyzed. The validity of the hypothesis was tested by regression analysis and the results were as follows. First, emotional intelligence plays an important role in lowering role ambiguity among job stress variables in field practice programs. Second, it was confirmed that role ambiguity plays a major role in the satisfaction of participating in field practice programs of tourism major students. Third, job stress directly affects field practice satisfaction rather than majors' satisfaction. Also, it is determined that major satisfaction is improved as a result of practice satisfaction.

관광전문인력 양성에 있어 중요한 한 부분을 차지하고 있는 현장실습 프로그램의 효용성을 극대화하기 위해서는 우선 가장 큰 제약요인인 직무스트레스를 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현장실습생들이 지각하는 감성지능이 직무스트레스와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 스트레스를 효과적으로 감소시키고 만족도를 높일 수 있는 프로그램의 개발에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 현장실습프로그램을 이수한 관광전공 대학생들을 대상으로 한 설문 310부를 데이터코딩 및 클리닝과정을 거쳐 분석한 데이터를 활용하였다. 측정 척도의 신뢰성과 타당성 검증을 위한 신뢰도 분석 및 타당성분석을 통한 기초자료검토를 수행하였으며, 가설의 검증은 회귀분석을 통하여 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관광전공대학생의 감성지능은 실습스트레스 중 역할모호성을 저하시키는 데에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관광전공대학생의 실습스트레스 중 현장실습 참여의 만족에 주요한 영향을 미치는 요인은 역할모호성으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 실습스트레스는 전공 만족도보다는 실습 만족도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치며, 실습만족의 결과로 전공만족이 향상되는 것을 확인하였다.
