This study aims at analyzing the peculiar moves of AlphaGo that recorded tremendous victories against professional players, showing very unusual and even grotesque plays. The results of examining about 30 moves of it are as follows: First, AlphaGo tends to play unconstrainedly fierce attachments, shoulder moves, vulgar-looking moves, etc. It especially plays the shoulder move very frequently. Second, AlphaGo’s performance gaining victory with such adventurous plays, reveals that it is less influenced by stereotype or preconception in considering Baduk moves than human players. Third, AlphaGo’s preference for shoulder moves seems to be related to its strategic tendency focusing on managing the center area. This can be interpreted as its liking for the ‘center-oriented’ style like Takemiya’s cosmos style, rather than seeking immediate territorial gains. Fourth, AlphaGo tends to disregard to a certain degree the principle of Baduk moves characterized by ‘situation-dependant,’ putting emphasis on the probability of winning. This can raise the question that man may be excessively dominated by situated thinking. In short, AlphaGo shows a different aspect of Baduk in art, giving rise to a kind of paradigm shift, as shown in the case of the Korean-Style Joseki.

이 연구는 매우 독창적이고 기괴하기까지 한 수를 두며 프로기사를 상대로 놀라운 승리를 기록한 알파고의 특별한 수들을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 알파고가 둔 약 30개의 수들을 분석 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 알파고는 저돌적인 붙임수, 어깨짚기, 속수 등을 거리낌 없이 두는 경향을 보였다. 특 히 어깨짚기를 매우 빈번하게 두고 있다. 둘째, 이런 모험적인 수로 승리를 거두는 알파고의 수행으로 볼 때 알파고는 인간 대국자보 다 수를 고려할 때 고정관념이나 선입견에 덜 영향을 받는 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 알파고가 어깨짚기를 선호하는 것은 중앙 경영에 초점을 두는 전략적 경향과 관계가 있는 것으로 보인다. 이것은 알파고가 즉각적인 실리를 추구하기보다 다케미야의 우주류처럼 중앙지향적인 바둑을 선호하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 넷째, 알파고는 승리 가능성에 중점을 두어 ‘상황의존적인’ 바둑의 원리를 약간 무시하는 경 향이 있는데, 이는 사람이 과도하게 상황적 사고를 하고 있는 것이 아닌가 하는 문제를 제기할 수 있다. 요약하면, 알파고는 기술상으로 색다른 측면을 보여주며, 한국류정석의 사례에서처럼 일종의 패러다임 전환을 일으키고 있다.
