As the importance of Humanities study is more and more emphasized by people, the Studies of Korean & Chinese Humanities Academy not only has scholars from both countries studying on them, but also has taken more and more influences to globalization activity. The research papers which has published in the Studies of Korean & Chinese Humanities used to be classified into linguistics, Korean language, education, social culture and etc. But nowadays they are classified into Korea related studies, Chinese related studies, Korean studies and other studies. The studies include various regions such as Korea, Chinese, Japan, Russia and the language of them. But studies on Korea and China are mainstream. The topics in Korea aspect are about Chinese characters, dialects, grammar and etc. The topics in China aspect are about dialects, vocabulary, grammar, compare or contrast between Chinese and Korean(or Japanese, English) and etc. Korean education and social culture are the most popular fields of them. The intense studies on culture education in the language education field shows the importance of social understanding. The studies of it would be more various and detailed. It is not easy to conclude the research trends by observing research activities published in the Studies of Korean & Chinese Humanities in the resent 12 years, we can take this as an opportunity to review the achievements of Korean & Chinese Humanities and take a correct direction for the future development. We look forward to the improvement of the academic journal.

한중인문학회의 학술 활동은 인문학의 중요성이 날로 인식되고 있는 상황에서 한중 양국의 인문학 연구자를 중심으로 각 나라의 인문학 연구뿐 아니라 세계화 시대의 활동에도 큰영향을 미치고 있다. 그동안 학술지 『한중인문학연구』에 게재된 논문 가운데 언어 어학, 한국어 및 기타 교육, 사회 문화 등에 소속된 지금까지의 연구 결과를 한국관련 연구, 중국관련 연구, 한중관련 연구, 기타 연구 등으로 다시 나누어 그 지역관련 연구를 세부적으로 분류하였다. 지역과 관련되어 논문주제에 한국, 중국, 일본, 러시아 등등으로 다양한 지역과 언어를 포함하고 있는 것이특징이지만, 한국과 중국에 관한 연구가 주류를 이룬다. 고대 한국어로부터 한자, 방언, 문법에 이르기까지 다양하며, 중국어에서도 방언, 어휘, 문법 등과 한중간의 비교와 대조 등이 있고, 일본어와 영어와의 관계 등을 연구하였다. 또한 한중 양국에서 가장 관심의 대상이 되고있는 것 가운데 하나가 한국어교육과 사회 문화방면이다. 언어교육에서 관심의 대상으로 나타나고 있는 문화에 관한 교육은 한 사회를 이해하는 측면에서도 더욱 필요한 분야로 연구 또한다양하고 세분화된 것을 볼 수 있다. 지금까지 『한중인문학연구』에 게재된 20년간의 연구 활동을 통해서 그 분야의 연구 동향을 쉽게 결론지을 수는 없지만 우리는 이를 계기로 한중간 인문학의 발전을 위해 그 방향을다시 한 번 제고하는 시간을 갖고 향후 더욱 발전되는 학술지로 거듭나기를 기대한다.
