This study is to contribute to restoring students’ willingness and subjectivity of learning and solving the actual problems faced in their lives by carrying out not the lessons of "'ethics and thought' by teachers" but the lessons of "'ethics and thought' by students". For this reason, this study was presented to a class of 'ethics and thought' in high school using ethics counseling as a model of the moral educational methods. Particularly, this suggestion aims to achieve the goal presented in the curriculum of "Ethics and Thought" by using 'Peer-counseling', a form of consultation with schools, for ethics consultation aimed at integrated ethical education. In this process, the teacher gives the students a time to confront the subject of learning by positively confusing the existential problem , using ‘the ethical subject matters approach' as a medium of learning need and interest in ‘ethics and thought'. The students’ learning of the main Western and Oriental ethical philosophy distinguishing the ethics counseling of the peer-counseling type from other counselings is carried out in the instructional strategy of the "ethics knowledge market" developed by researchers.

본 연구는 ‘교사들에 의한 윤리와 사상’ 수업에서 벗어나 ‘학생들의(of the student) 윤리와 사상’ 수업을 구현함으로써 학생들에게 배움의 기꺼움과 주체성을 되찾아주고 학생들의 삶에서 직면하는 실존적 고민을 해결하는 데 기여하고자 한다. 이를 위해 도덕과 교수학습방법의 한 모형으로서 윤리상담을 활용한 고등학교 윤리와 사상 수업을 제안하였다. 특히, 통합적 윤리교육을 지향하는 윤리상담을 위해 학교상담의 한 형태인 ‘또래상담’을 활용하여 ‘윤리와 사상’의 교육과정에서 제시하는 목표를 성취하고자 한다. 이 과정에서 교사는 학생들에게 윤리와 사상에 대한 배움의 필요와 흥미의 매개로서 ‘화두적 접근’을 이용하여 실존적 문제에 대하여 긍정적 혼란을 일으켜 배움의 주체와 마주하는 시간을 제공한다. 또래상담형 윤리상담이 다른 상담과 구별되게 하는 학생들의 한국 및 동․서양의 주요 윤리사상학습은 연구자가 개발한 ‘윤리지식시장’이라는 교실 수업 아이디어로 이루어진다.
