The purpose of the study is to conduct systematical literature review related to peer tutoring for inclusive physical education classes in order to suggest the strategies to use effective peer tutoring and future research. The articles were published from 1997-2007. Studies included in this review article had to meet following seven criteria: (a) an original study that has been published, (b) in the English language, (c) located in periodical publications, (d) must be field-based research, (e) must provide a clear definition of the participants, (f) must provide a description of the tutor training needed for an effective tutoring program, and (g) must provide the level of ability or age of both the tutees and tutors. Findings of the 7 selected studies were largely divided into six focus areas: (a) type of peer tutoring, (b) tutor training, (c) themes: motor performance and motor engagement. Recommendations for future practice and research were suggested throughout this study.

본 연구는 통합체육 수업 시 또래교수 중재 효과에 관련된 선행 연구 분석을 통해 통합체육의 효율적 적용을 위한 또래교수 중재 전략의 운영방법 및 연구방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 자료 분석에 사용된 연구 논문은 1997 년부터 2007년까지의 또래교수 중재 효과를 연구한 논문으로 (a) 학술지에 게재된 논문원본, (b) 영어로 게재된 논문, (c) 정기적으로 간행되는 학술지에 개제된 논문, (d) 현장중심 연구, (e) 연구 참여자에 대한 자세한 정의가 내려진 논 문, (f) 효과적인 또래교수를 위한 또래교사의 훈련이 포함된 연구, (g) 또래교사와 장애학생의 연령과 현재수행 능력이 언급된 논문 등의 7가지 기준으로 선정하였으며 체계적 문헌분석(systematical literature review)을 통해 연구결과 를 도출하였다. 연구 결과, (a) 또래교수의 유형 (b) 또래교수 훈련과정, (c) 운동수행 및 운동지속성에 미치는 영향으 로 구분하여 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 성공적인 통합체육 수업을 위한 효율적인 또래교수 중재전략을 수립하고 실질 적으로 적용하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
