회화체のノダと해(요)체の종결어미に관する일한대조연구 -エヴィデンシャリティ(evidentiality)の관점から-
초록
영어
The purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast noda of colloquial style in Japanese and the final suffixes of hay(yo) style in Korean from the perspective of evidentiality. Analysis results are as follows. (1) The Korean language has the grammatical means of indicating the source of information i.e. evidentiality, whereas the Japanese language does not have the grammatical means. Instead noda of periphrastic construction in Japanese refers to evidentiality. (2) Because of the differences of way to express the evidentiality between Japanese and Korean, noda of colloquial style in Japanese does not correspond to kesita in Korean, in spite of their structural similarity. (3) Because Korean has the grammatical means of indicating evidentiality, kesita does not need to express evidentiality. On the other hand, because Japanese does not have the specific forms, noda is used to encode evidentiality.
