This study aims to verify the effects of the Mindfulness meditation on concentration reinforcement for modern pentathlon athletes. The Mindfulness meditation consisted of 4 training techniques breath-counting meditation, short focus-meditation, acceptance and concentration training, and value development. The Mindfulness training was conducted for 5 university modern pentathlon athletes for 6 times in 6 weeks. First of all, the analysis on the effect of the mindfulness meditation indicated that Non- judging acceptance (t=5.72, p<.01), Realizing the self (t=3.14, p<.01), and Concentration (t=6.00, p<.01) improved positively with lower scores. However, the score of Decentering increased, which meant it had a negative effect, but no significant difference (t=3.16, p<.05). Secondly, the effect on their concentration strengthening demonstrated that Confidence (t=3.16, p<.05), Concentration (t=2.8, p<.05), and Anxiety control (t=4.47, p<.05) improved and affected positively. As a result, the mindfulness meditation positively enhances the modern pentathlon players’ concentration.
