The Medicinal Herb Complex (MHC) Effect on the Organs and Blood in Scopolamine-induced Brain Deficits Rat

The purpose of this study was investigate effects of medicinal herb complex (MCH) on the blood and organs in scopolamine induced brain deficits rats (1 mg/kg, i,p.) for 7 weeks. The experimental groups were divided into three groups : saline (1.0 mL/kg, NC: negative control), scopolamine (1 mg/kg, PC: positive control) and MCH (300 mg/kg, MCH). In the blood lipid parameters (LDL, HDL, T-ChoL and TG), there was no significantly difference among groups. In the damage index levels of kidney and live (ALT, AST, and BUN), the ALT and ALT levels of MCH was significantly lower than those of NC and PC group. In the relative weight of organs (testis, spleen, liver, adrenal gland, kidney, thymus, heart, lung and brain), only brain weight of NC, PC and MCH group were 0.51%, 0.49% and 0.51%, respectively. In hippocampus CA3 and dentate gyrus (DG) of MCH group, injuried nissl body by scopolamine was recovered compared with that of PC group.
