This study is to identify the teacher-student relationship perceived by the elementary school student, and how it is related to the student's ego resilience and school adjustment. For settling these research problems, a survey on teacher-student relationship, student's ego resilience and adjustment to school life was conducted targeting 433 elementary school students in the 3rd to 6th grades within Gyeonggi province and then, the collected data were analyzed by using SPSSWIN (Ver 12.0) statistical program. The results of this study are as follows. First, a significant difference existed in the teacher-student relationship perceived by the elementary school student depending on the background variable. First, a significant difference existed in the teacher-student relationship perceived by the elementary school student depending on the background variable. Second, the relevancy analysis between the teacher-student relationship perceived by the elementary school student and the student's ego resilience result showed that the subcategories of the teacher-student relationship have an overall relationship with the entire ego resilience and its subcategories. Third, the analysis performed on the relevancy of the teacher-student relationship perceived by the elementary student and the student's school adjustment result illustrated that all subcategories of the teacher-student relationship are correlated with the entire student's school adjustment and its subcategories. It’s concluded that Because the teacher-student relationship influence the student’s ego resilience and school adjustment, A differentiated approach and programs are required to increase the teacher-student relationship.

본 연구는 초등학생이 지각한 교사-학생의 관계는 어떠하며 그것이 학생의 자아탄력성 및 학교적응간에 어떤 관련을 맺고 있는지를 밝히는데 목적을 두었다. 이와 같은 연구문제를 해 결하기 위하여 경기도 도내 읍면지역 초등학교 3～6학년 학생 433명과 학생들에 대한 담임교 사 21명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 설문실시한 후 SPSSWIN(Ver 12.0) 통계프로그램을 사용하 여 분석하였다. 초등학생이 지각하는 교사-학생 관계의 특성을 알아보고자 t검증과 일원변량 분석(one-way ANOVA)을 이용한 F검증을 실시하였고, 초등학생이 지각한 교사-학생관계와 학 생의 자아탄력성 및 학교생활 적응과의 관련성을 알아보고자 상관관계분석과 회귀분석을 실 시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 초등학생이 지각한 교사-학생 관계는 배경변 인에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 담임교사가 여교사일 경우, 교사의 현학교 근무기간이 3 년 미만인 경우, 교사의 연령이 20대일 경우, 교직경력이 5년 미만일 경우, 학생수 25명 미만 의 학급의 학생일 경우, 여학생일 경우, 학생의 성격이 활달한 경우, 학년에 따라서는 3학년 에서 5학년으로 올라갈수록 초등학생이 지각하는 교사-학생 관계에 대해 높게 지각되는 것으 로 나타났다. 2) 교사-학생 관계는 학생의 자아탄력성과 전체적으로 상관이 있었다. 3) 교사- 학생 관계는 학생의 학교생활적응과 전체적으로 상관이 있었다. 이러한 연구결과에 따라 1) 초등학생의 교사-학생 관계를 높이기 위해 특히 남학생과 6학년 학생들에 대한 의도적인 교 육적 접근의 필요성 및 학급의 인원수를 25명 미만으로 구성하는 제도적 개선의 필요성 2) 교사와 학생과의 관계를 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발 및 적용의 필요성 3) 학교생활에 부 적응 학생이 있을 경우 교사-학생간 신뢰를 쌓는 의도적인 노력과 관심이 요구된다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
