Machinery industry in Gyeongnam still leads regional and national economic development in Korea. Recently, it has also been expected the second take-off for the Industrial and regional development. It exist series problems that the unemployment rate increases and the skilled in manufacturing site decrease consistently. It is also concerned that the demand and supply program for the manpower management should be prepared. For this study, representative industrial sectors such as machinery, aircraft, and shipbuilding and offshore plant industries were selected in Gyeongnam and Busan-metro areas using industrial specialization quotients. The demand and supply condition of manpower and the lack of the skilled in each industry were surveyed and the future working groups were notified in result. It has found 18 new jobs such as a programming relating machine and metal, a 3-dimensioning process, a design and layout, composite materials and quality certifications, and so on. There require numerous future industrial skilled workers in each industry. It would be prepared for the industrial needs of the skilled with improving skills and techniques of beginners, incumbent and holders of high levels of technology, with raising budget and with setting a new educational program, etc..

기계중심의 경남은 오랫동안 지역과 국가 경제발전을 주도해 왔고 최근 항공, 해양플랜트, 나노융합 등 3개의 국가산단이 추가 지정됨에 따라 제2도약을 기대하고 있다. 청년실업이 늘어나는 가운데 기업에서는 숙련인력 부족과 채용의 어려움을 겪고 있어 원활한 수급대책이 필요한 시점이다. 경남 인근의 대표업종으로 기계, 항공, 조선해양플랜트산업을 선정하고 이들에 대한 인력수급 및 숙련수요를 조사하였다. 이를 통해 18개의 새로운 미래 신규직업군을 발굴하였다. 기계금속 프로그래밍업, 3D프린트 설계‧ 가공업, 조선해양IT업, 항공우주 복합재 제조업, 항공우주 품질보증(인증)업 등이 그것이다. 신규직업군은 미래인력수급을 원활하게 하기 위하여 신규, 숙련 및 재직인력 숙련도 제고를 포함하여 예산조 달과 교육프로그램 설정 등이 따라야 할 것이다.
