This study want to know methods and features that are used in autobiographical writing, and want to survey features of aspects that are reflected in subject of general writing of college. Also in basis of the contents, at general writing of college, aimed at looking for improvement point and intention point in education of autobiographical writing. For this work, first, checked the conception and character of autobiographical writing. And saw typical aspect of autobiographical writing that are using in general writing in college. Through this process could keep up with the fact that writing of ordinary selfnarrative and writing of autobiographical novel are important activity as a foundation of autobiographical writing. These writing activities should be in stream of autobiographical writing. And have to recognize autobiographical writing as a educational activity that persue two aims that contain self-examination and writing, and there need to be shown continuous effort that are carefully connected in small and big contexts.

이 연구는 자전적 쓰기에서 일반적으로 사용되는 방법적 특징을 알아보고, 그러한 특징들을 대학 글쓰기 교과에서 반영하고 있는 양상을 살펴보고자 한다. 또 그 내용을 토대로 대학 글쓰기에서 자전적 쓰기 교육이 지향하고 있는 현재적 방법론과 교육적 지향점을 찾아가는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 작업을 위하여 먼저 자전적 쓰기의 개념과 성격을 알아보았다. 또 대학의 교양 글쓰기에서 활용하는 자전적 쓰기의 대표적인 양상을 살펴보았다. 이 과정에서 자기소개서 쓰기와 자전 소설 쓰기가 자전적 쓰기에서 중요한 활동이 됨을 인식할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 대학 글쓰기 현장에서 사용할 수 있는 자기소개서 쓰기와 자전 소설 쓰기의 부분적 방법론으로서 실제 수업에서 활용한 자료를 근거로 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 쓰기 활동들은 자전적 쓰기의 흐름 속에서 별개의 것으로 놓이지 않도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 또 자전적 쓰기를 자기성찰이라는 정의적 목표와 실제적 쓰기라는 기능적 목표를 동시에 추구하는 교육적 활동으로 인지하고, 크고 작은 쓰기 활동의 맥락 속에서 세심하게 연관되도록 다각적인 연구와 노력이 이어져야 할 것이다.
