Moral subject in Korea has established in the way of non-subjective acceptance of the Western Moral Education Theory without conflation of the traditional moral education theory which is the approach to moral education in East Asia, developing in Buddhism and Confucianism. This thesis suggests that integrated moral education theory comparing Plato ’s thoughts which is the foundation of Western Moral Education Theory with Wonhyo’s thoughts which is the foundation of East Asia Moral Education. We could reflect that Plato’s Theory of Forms was not fully understood when we analyzed Plato’s 『Republic』. As a result, we has taught someone who gives their opinion[doxa], not the truth. This thesis contains the accurate understanding of Plato’s thoughts and the Kisinron’s way of thought by Wonhyo which is the harmony between the West and the East in moral subject education theory. That presents “Wonyungmooye[圓融無碍]’s Moral Education Theory”. This thesis presents how moral subject education should proceed for recently training the creative convergence talents and it is the try at teaching in well- balanced education between traditional thoughts and western thoughts.

우리 도덕과 교육은 그 동안 서양의 도덕교육론의 비주체적 수용으로 유교와 불교의 배경 속에서 정착한 동아시아의 도덕교육적 접근인 전통 도덕교육론과 융합되지 못한 채 이루어져 왔다. 본고는 서양 도덕교육사상의 토대가 되는 플라톤의 사유와 동아시아의 도덕교육 사상의 하나인 원효의 사유 비교를 통해서 균형 잡힌 도덕교육론을 제시한다. 플라톤의 『국가론』을 분석하는 과정에서 그의 핵심 사상인 이데아론이 우리의 교육에서 제대로 이해되지 않은 채 의견(doxa)을 사랑하는 사람들을 키우는 교육을 해왔음을 성찰할 수 있었다. 본고를 통해 플라톤의 사유를 올바로 이해하고 도덕과 교육론에서 서양과 동양의 사유를 조화시킬 수 있는 방법을 원효의 기신론적 사유라 보았으며, 이것을 ‘원융무애의 도덕교육론’ 이라는 실천적 표현으로 제시한다. 이것은 ‘창의․융합인재 양성’이라는 시대적 요청에 우리 도덕과 교육이 나아가야 할 융합교육형에 대한 제안에 해당되며, 전통적 사유와 서구적 사유를 함께 길러주는 균형 잡힌 도덕교육의 시도라 할 수 있다.
