This study was to develop the scales for assessing elementary students’ life-styles on the base of Adlerian personality priorities. To develop the scales, 30 items were drawn from the Allen’s Assessing the Adlerian personality priorities(Allen, 2005) and Schoenaker’s theoretical descriptions of Adlerian personality priorities(Schoenaker, 2011), which were agreed to be appropriate to elementary students by 5 elementary teachers. Subjects were 454 elementary students who were 5th and 6th graders. 25 items were selected through exploratory factor analysis and were classified to 5 factors which were named as comfort, pleasing, self control, other control, and superiority according to the results of the factor analysis. The structure of the factors in the scales were accepted to be appropriate through the confirmatory factor analysis(TLI=.977, CFI=.981, RMSEA=.071). The scales’ reliability and validity was examined through internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and concurrent validity with Kim and kim(2003)’s K-PPI and were accepted to be reliable and valid(Cronbach α=.70～.83, test-retest reliability=.71～.79, concurrent validity=.25～.61).

본 연구는 아들러상담의 성격우선순위 개념에 기초하여 초등학생의 생활양식을 평가하는 척 도를 개발하는 것이다. 척도를 개발하기 위하여, Allen(2005)의 성격우선순위 검사와 Schoenaker (2011)의 이론적 설명으로부터 30개의 문항을 도출하였으며, 이 과정에서 5명의 초등학교 교 사가 각 문항들이 초등학생에게 적합한 것인지 합의하였다. 연구대상은 초등학교 5, 6학년 454명이었다. 탐색적 요인분석의 결과 25개의 문항이 선정되었으며, 이들은 편안함, 기쁘게하 기, 자기통제, 타인통제, 우월성의 하위요인으로 분류되었다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 구성한 척도의 요인구조가 적합한 것으로 나타났다(TLI=.98, CFI=.98, RMSEA=.07). 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하기 위하여 문항내적 합치도, 검사-재검사 신뢰 도 및 김난예ㆍ김춘경(2003)의 성격우선순위 검사와의 공인 타당도를 산출하였다. 문항내적 합치도 Cronbach α 계수는 .70-.83, 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 .71-.79, 공인타당도 계수는 .25-.61 로서 척도는 신뢰롭고 타당하였다.
