The Influence on Semantic Memory of Japanese Sign Language by the Similarity Degree Of Korean and Japanese Sign Language - for senior high youth group learning Japanese in korean school for the deaf - Targeting korean japanese learners with hearing impairment, this study put a focus on measuring memory records about vocabulary expression of japanese sign language and looked into what kind of effect chereme's similarity degree among vocabulary expressions in korean sign language and japanese sign language has on the memory records of vocabulary expression in japanese sign language. As a result, according to the consequence of this study's test, it turned out that the more expression between korean and japanese sign language is similar, the higher the memory records of hearing impaired koreans become in a sense of expressing vocabularies in japanese sign language. Also, vocabularies such as ‘いい、寝る、安い、写真’ which are often used in daily life relatively got higher grade in memory records while the vocabularies related directly and indirectly to academic performance or expression of assessment such as ‘下手だ、よくできました’ got low mark. Therefore it is analyzed that hearing impaired korean japanese learners in a school for the deaf are more likely to gain good grade in memory record when they use vocabulary closely related with their daily life as it helps increasing interest in memorizing vocabulary.
