In the past, due to the cramming method of teaching, it was important to know a lot of things, however , in modern society, it is important to increase higher mental capacity such as creativity or problem-solving capability. Therefore, as a system of assessment that could evaluate a students' overall ability, performance assessment is standing out. In the process of education, the meaning of assessment is diverse, and its importance is significant. So, we should deeply be aware that it is necessary for the performance assessment to settle down, and also constantly work hard for more efficient performance assessment. To do a beauty performance assessment with the purpose of intention in the curriculum, teachers' correct perception, who are directly doing the performance assessment in the educational arena, is more important than anything else. So the purpose of this study is to help do more effective and trusted assessment by making a survey and analysis of beauty teachers' perception and actual conditions on performance assessment in vocational high schools to find problems and implications of its improvement methods.
