The purpose of this study was to develop a inclusive early childhood education model for preservice teacher. The goals of the model are to help preservice teachers improve their practical competences of inclusive education and constructs preservice personal meaning. In other to analysis inservice teacher education plans, literature reviews of inclusive education theories and practical programs, professional committee meetings were conducted. The inclusive early childhood education model was applied to preservice teachers for 15 weeks. The preservice teacher’s evaluations of the class were reviewed to adapt the initial model to suggest a final inclusive early childhood education model. The major results of this study were as follows. Models composed of educational goals, educational contents, teaching and learning abilities, and evaluations for inclusive early childhood education. It is expected that the inclusive early childhood education model would be applied to many different contexts for preservice early childhood teacher education to support and improve teaching abilities, motivations, positive awareness and attitudes.

본 연구의 목적은 예비교사의 장애유아통합교육의 실천 역량을 높일 수 있는 직전교육의 방안을 찾기 위해 장애유아통합교육수업모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰, 장애유아통합교육수업 관련 교과목 분석, 전문가 협의를 통해 예비교사를 위한 장애유아통합교육수업모형을 구성하였다. 다음으로 본 모형을 서울의 4년제 대학교에서 특수아동교육 수업을 수강한 17명의 학생을 대상으로 적용하여 수업을 시행하였다. 수업을 실시한 결과 예비교사들은 혼란에서 이해로 그리고 편견에서 감정이입으로 변화를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과는 예비교사를 위한 장애유아통합교육수업모형이 유아교육학과의 직전교육 수업에서 장애유아통합교육을 긍정적으로 인식하고 적극적으로 실천할 수 있는 역량을 증진하는데 이바지할 것이라 판단된다.
