In several domestic papers pertaining to elementary and middle school students, we examined the relationship between creative attitude and academic performance in mathematics. However, few papers focus on high school students. This study examined the relationship between creative attitude and academic performance in mathematics based on four groups of second-grade high school students. The instrumentations used were CAS-K(Creativity Attitude Scale-Korea) and the score of regular tests. Correlation analyses were used to analyse the data. The results are summarized as follows: There is a significant correlation between creative attitude and academic performance (significant p<.01). However, we also noticed the different correlation between composition factors and academic performance according to the different groups.

본 연구는 고등학교 2학년 학생을 대상으로 수학에서 창의적 태도와 학업성취도의 상관, 창의 적 태도의 하위요인과 학업성취도의 상관을 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수학에 서 창의적 태도를 이지성(2006)이 개발한 CAS-K(Creative Attitude Scale-Korea)의 총점으로, 학업성취 도를 2011년 6월에 실시한 고2 전국연합 학력평가 수리영역 표준점수로 정의하여 대구지역 고등학 교 2학년 학생 4집단을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, SPSS v.19를 사용하여 상관분석을 실시하였 다. 그 결과, 수학에서 창의적 태도와 학업성취도의 경우 4집단 모두에서 유의미한 양의 상관이 나타 났으나, 창의적 태도의 일곱 가지 구성요인-유창성, 적절성, 적극성, 독자성, 집중성, 수렴성, 정밀성- 과 학업성취도의 상관은 집단에 따라 상의하여 일관성 있는 결론을 얻기 어려웠다.
