A Study on the Specialization of the Science-Gifted Education at University in the National Policy of Gifted Education

This study examined the current status of university attached science-gifted education centers and the opinions of the chief managers and the research workers of those centers. Based on this results, the suitable role of science-gifted education centers was discussed. We also proposed some improvements in the student selection process and in the management of science-gifted education centers.

본 연구에서는 대학부설 과학영재교육원의 현황을 조사하고 전국 과학영재교육 원 원장과 연구원들의 의견을 수렴하였다. 이를 바탕으로 과학영재교육원의 바람직한 역할에 대해 논의하고 학생 선발 및 운영에 있어서의 개선방향을 모색하였다.
