With recent rises in family incomes, more and more people attach great importance to family-based leisure activities, and people visit parks more often to enjoy closer family ties. As a result, they have a growing interest not only in parks as convenience facilities but also in their public designs which affect the surrounding landscapes and provide information on how to use these facilities. In particular, colors, which are components of public designs, are visual elements which stimulate people’s emotions by creating aesthetic and pleasant landscapes. Hence, it is important to study how these colors can be used in a multilateral way. By using the environmental color analysis program, this study analyzed colors of public designs in parks, based on the example of Busan Spo1 Corporation’s public designs. The study then identified problems of color uses in existing public designs and suggested color analysis methods and color guidelines which will help production of more effective public designs. The study started with understanding the concepts of public designs and environmental colors by reviewing the basic information. Then, by using the color analysis program, the problems of color use on Spo1’s existing public designs were analyzed. Based on this analysis, the environmental color guideline was devised by formulating a new range of colors. The study attempted to formulate a scientific and systematic color analysis methodology which uses a color-based program. Also, the color guideline was devised which harmonizes with the surrounding natural environment while maintaining Spo1’s identity.

최근 소득 증가와 함께 가족 중심의 여가 활동을 중요하게 생각하는 경향이 늘어나고 있으며, 가족간의 유대관계 향상을 위해 가까운 공원을 이용하는 빈도가 점점 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 공원 시설에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 그중에서 편의시설로서의 기능과 함께 공원 이용 정보와 주변 환경에 영향을 미치는 공공디자인의 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히, 공공디자인의 구성요소인 색채는 공원 전체의 분위기를 결정하고 심미적이고 쾌적한 공원경관을 조성하여 시민들의 감성적인 부분을 자극하는 시각적 요소로서 적용에 관한 다각적인 접근방법에 관한 연구가 이루어져 할 필요가 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 공원에 설치되어 있는 공공디자인의 색채분석에 관한 연구로서, 부산지방공단 스포원의 공공디자인을 중심으로 환경색채분석 프로그램을 이용한 색채 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 현재 설치·운영되고 있는 공공디자인의 색채에 관한 문제점을 검토하고 효과적인 공공디자인을 위한 색채 분석 방법 및 색채 가이드라인의 제시가 이루어 졌다. 그 연구 방법으로 첫째, 기초 자료의 검토를 통해 공공디자인과 환경색채에 대한 개념을 이해하고, 둘째 색채분석프로그램을 통해 스포원의 공공디자인 색채에 대한 문제점 분석과 새로운 색채범위를 추출하여, 셋째 환경색채가이드라인을 제시하였다. 결과, 색채 전문 프로그램을 이용한 과학적이고 체계적인 색채 분석 방법론에 관한 연구와 주변의 자연환경과 조화를 이룰 수 있으며 스포원의 정체성을 유지할 수 있는 색채가이드라인의 제시가 이루어 졌다.
