The results of the study show that the use of deverbalization and reformulation strategies can yield high-quality translation during audiovisual translation. The strategies were especially effective in the following areas: words/idioms, character relationship, sentence conversion /structural adjustment, cultural/historical background, domestification, addition, understanding context and humor.
