The purpose of this study is to investigate childcare facility workers' recognition on the advantages, limitations, improvements of childcare facility re-accreditation process. The subject of this study were directors and teachers of 19 childcare facilities. The results of this study are as follows. First, about advantages of re-accreditation, directors of nursery facilities pointed out an opportunity of re-checking for nursery's environment, entire management for quality of nursery facilities. Teachers pointed out securing of enough and various teaching material and teaching tools, improvement of teaching skill and interaction capacity. Second, about limitations of re-accreditation, directors of nursery facilities pointed out lack of finance for repairing facilities, one-sided assessment indicators without consideration of facility type or characteristics. Teachers pointed out stress caused by excessive working hour, lack of time for preparation, lack of information about right interaction and teaching skill. Third, about improvements of re-accreditation, directors of nursery facilities pointed out simplification of nursery document, allowed autonomy of carrying out special activity. Teachers pointed out incentive and support of benefit for overtime work for teachers in facilities with re-accreditation, professional assistance about interaction and teaching skills.

본 연구의 목적은 평가인증 이후 처음 실시된 평가인증 재인증 과정에 참여한 19개 보육시설의 시설장과 교사들을 대상으로 재인증의 장점, 제한점, 개선점에 대한 인식을 살펴보는 것이었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 재인증의 장점에 대해 시설장은 어린이집 환경 재점검의 기회, 보육시설의 전반적인 질관리 등을 지적하였고, 교사는 충분하고 다양한 교재, 교구 확보, 교수법과 상호작용 능력 향상 등을 지적하였다. 둘째, 재인증의 제한점에 대해 시설장은 시설 하자 보수 위한 재정 부족, 시설유형이나 특성을 고려하지 않은 획일적인 평가지표 등을 지적하였고, 교사는 근무시간 초과로 인한 스트레스, 준비시간 부족, 올바른 상호작용과 교수법에 대한 정보 부족 등을 지적하였다. 셋째, 재인증의 개선점에 대해 시설장은 보육문서 간소화, 특별활동 실시 자율성 허용 등을 지적하였고, 교사는 재인증 받은 시설 교사에 대한 인센티브 및 시간외 수당 지원, 상호작용과 교수법에 대한 전문적 조력 등을 지적하였다.
