This study confirms that checking performance of learning community was necessary to establish lifelong learning city base as an efficient knowledge-based net-work should be prioritized through learning community to encourage educational environment to be local-society-friendly to establish lifelong learning city base. This study suggested more specific ways to satisfy learner's and community's demand and motivation by utilizing learning presence through both visible learning methodology in reality and invisible learning one superficially. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explore ways to establish lifelong learning city efficiently through detailed study of learning community. Therefore, this study is significant in providing specific cases, focusing on learning community of local society and customized learning community to establish lifelong learning city.

본 연구는 평생학습도시 기반구축을 위하여 학습공동체의 성과를 확인하고자 한다. 왜냐하면, 평생학습도시 기반구축을 위해서는 교육환경이 지역사회에 친화적으로 접근하는데 있어서 학습공동체를 통한 효율적인 지식기반의 net-work이 우선되어야 하기 때문이다. 학습공동체를 위한 구체적인 방법으로는 실존적으로 가시적인 학습방법과 피상적으로 비가시적인 학습방법을 통한 학습 현존감을 통하여 학습자와 지역사회로부터의 요구나 동기에 부응할 수 있어야할 것이다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 평생학습도시를 효율적으로 구축하기 위한 방안을 살펴보기 위하여 학습공동체를 통한 평생학습도시의 기반구축 요인들을 탐색하는데 그 목적을 두고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 평생학습도시의 구축을 위한 지역사회의 학습공동체를 거점으로 하는 구체적인 사례와 함께 맞춤형 학습공동체를 살펴보는데 그 의의가 있다.
