The last time, the results of research in a field of brain science attract newly attention to problem in determinism and free will. This classical theme have been argued for long in philosophy. Libet experiment is representative within these researches of brain science. On the whole a people interpret Libet experiment as the main experimental evidence to vindicate a determinism. But on the other hand I will indicate the point at issue of this interpretation. I don`t think that this experiment lay out an all-out denial of free will. I am a stand to vindicate free will. And so I will make clear a confronting argument point on this issue through Kant`s speculative argument. It is a problem to explain activity of human owning personality with micro-electrical appearance of brain. Therefore on this position, this paper state an argument.

최근의 뇌 과학 분야에서 발표된 연구결과들은 철학에서 오래도록 논의 되어 온 고전적 주제인 결정론과 자유의지의 문제에 새롭게 주목을 끌어내고 있다. 이들 실험 중에서 대표적인 것으로 리벳 실험이 있다. 사람들은 리벳 실험의 결과를 결정론을 옹호하는 주요한 실험적 증거로 해석하는 경향이 지배적이다. 하지만 다른 한편 이러한 해석에 대해 그 문제점을 지적하여 이 실험 결과가 자유의지를 전면 부정하는 증거로 해석할 수 없다는 논지를 펼치고 있다. 논자는 후자의 입장에서 칸트가 사변적 논의를 통해 이러한 문제에 대응한 논점을 밝힘으로써 뇌 과학에서 밝힌 실험결과들이 미시적인 뇌의 전기적 현상이 보여주는 실험결과를 인격을 가진 인간의 활동을 설명하는 데는 제한적이라는 건해에 근거하여 논의를 전개한다.
