The purpose of this research is to find the possibility of various broadcast contents providing knowledge as the tools of teaching and learning. This study is also for developing the PBL teaching module which combines broadcast contents with PBL theory as one of the teaching models. These ideas are grounded on the thought that the PBL teaching module will make it possible for teachers to utilize it in the course of mapping out study plans. For the attainment of these goals we have inquired into diverse literatures and documents for the understanding of the possibility of broadcast contents as teaching and learning tools. Surveys of 244 teachers have also been carried out concerning the understanding of and the demands for broadcast contents in order to grope for the possibility of them as useful teaching and learning tools. On the basis of the result of the inquiries and surveys we have planned and developed a teaching module grounded on various broadcast contents providing knowledge. It is designed for the substantial and practical use of various broadcast contents in the PBL environment. But much more careful and intensive analyses must be shown for the verification of the validity and utility for the teaching module proposed through this study. And additional researches are required relating to the database management for broadcast contents providing knowledge, PBL-based item pools utilizing the contents, and the construction of archive for the contents. We have also proposed that the development of the training programs about the digital literacy is necessary for the extension of the abilities of the teachers as educational experts.

본 연구는 교수자의 교수-학습자원으로써의 방송지식콘텐츠의 가능성을 탐색하고, 또한 방송지식콘텐츠와 지식구성 교수-학습 모형 중에 하나인 PBL의 교수-학습 원리를 결합하는 방송지식콘텐츠 기반 PBL 티칭모듈을 개발하여 PBL 교수자가 교수-학습계획안을 설계할 때 활용할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌 연구를 통한 방송지식콘텐츠의 교수-학습 자원으로써의 가능성을 고찰하였다. 또한 방송지식콘텐츠의 활용 가능성을 분석하기 위해 244명의 교수자를 대상으로 방송지식콘텐츠에 대한 인식 및 요구조사를 하였으며, 분석결과를 토대로 지식매개 학습자원으로써 방송지식콘텐츠가 갖는 가능성을 PBL 환경에서 실질적으로 구현하기 위해 방송콘텐츠를 학습객체화한 방송지식콘텐츠 기반 PBL 티칭모듈을 설계. 개발하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 통해 개발된 모듈의 타당성과 유용성 분석이 이루어져야 하며, 또한 방송지식콘텐츠의 내용별 DB(Data base)화 및 방송지식콘텐츠를 활용한 PBL문제은행, 방송지식콘텐츠 아카이브 구축 등의 후속 연구가 수행되어야 하며, 더불어 교수자의 교육전문성 신장을 위한 디지털 리터러시 연수 프로그램 개발 등을 제언하였다.
