Recently, the people have concern about leisure with nature therefore the visitors of recreational forest(RF) are increasing. So the purpose of this study is to provide background material to support the increasing demand to improve the accommodations of RF and provide better service. Most important facilities in RF are accommodations. This study analyze the satisfaction of visitors of the 4 places accommodations of RF in north Gyeongbuk. As the result 1)The visitors think that RF is only a rest place than education place with nature. 2)The visitors prefer the various size of rooms that provide visitors with a wider variety of rooms to choose. 3)The visitors are more concerned about the size of rooms than the construction material of accommodations in(ex)terior. 4)The visitors prefer one-room types to separated room types.(But shower and kitchen space are quite the contrary) 5)The visitors prefer independent accommodations and various roof types to share accommodations with somebody and general gable roof types

최근들어 여가시간 증가, 자연에 대한 관심으로 인하여 자연휴양림의 방문객이 증가하고 있다. 자연휴양림에서 가장 중요한 시설은 숙박시설이기 때문에 자연휴양림의 숙박시설에 대한 만족도를 조사하였다. 조사대상 휴양림은 경상북도 북부지역에 있는 5곳(청옥산, 통고산, 칠보산, 검마산, 대야산)이다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1)대부분의 방문객들은 자연휴양림을 단순히 휴식만을 위한 공간으로 인식하고 있다. 2) 방문객들은 단일한 유형의 숙박시설보다 선택의 폭이 넓은 다양한 규모의 실을 갖춘 휴양림을 선호한다. 3) 방문객들은 숙박시설의 내․외장재에는 관심을 가지고 있지 않았고 숙박시설의 넓이에 더 많은 관심을 가지고 있다. 4) 방으로 구획된 공간보다 오픈된 공간의 방이 만족도가 높았다.(반대로 화장실과 샤워실은 하나의 공간으로 된 것 보다 구획된 것을 선호한다) 5) 숙박시설의 외관 형태는 일반적으로 사용하는 박공지붕보다 다양한 지붕형태의 숙박시설이 만족도가 높았다. 6)숙박시설 건물 내부공간에서도 공용공간으로 사용하는 공간보다 독립된 공간으로 계획된 경우가 만족도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다.
