Advanced or ubiquitous information technology (U-IT) such as RFID/USN(Radio Frequency Identification/Ubiquitous Sensor Network), social semantic web, and mobile augmented reality enables edutourism services which are a combination of education and tourism. Under edutourism systems, travelers using mobile devices such as smart phone and PDA can anytime get in-depth personalized learning services as well as tour information services at historic sites or sightseeing sites. In this paper, a service model of edutourism was suggested with a cooperative strategy, a strategy converging U-IT and traditional industries, and a few cases for implementing the edutourism.
