Proliferation of the Internet has made e-learning services become popular, and demand for m-learning has also been increased. However, the weakness of current e-learning or m-learning service is such that the service is not adaptable to individual user’s performance. In this paper, a personalized and optimized learning service system using open software platform is proposed. The design of the proposed system is mainly based on a Lightweight LMS which is installed onto a portable device. It provides individually optimized learning services and operates even in an Internet-inaccessible environment. The system also periodically re-adjusts level of learning content using feedback information from the user.

인터넷 기술의 발달로 e-러닝 서비스가 활성화되었으며 최근에는 m-러닝의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 현재의 e-러닝은 획일적인 학습 서비스만 가능한 단점을 가지고 있으며, m-러닝의 경우 솔루션 부족으로 인해 제한적인 서비스만이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 개방형 소프트웨어 플랫폼을 통한 개인 최적화된 학습 서비스 시스템의 제안한다.
제안 시스템은 휴대 단말기에 탑재 가능한 경량 LMS를 가지며, 이를 이용하여 인터넷에 접속 여부에 관계없이 사용자 개개인에 최적화된 학습 서비스를 제공하고 개인별 학습 서비스의 수준을 지속적으로 재조정하도록 설계되었다.
