Analysis of Listening and Speaking Ability of Japanese Accent by Korean Learners: with a Focus on the E-learning Lecture of Korean-Japanese Interpretation Practice. Interpreting and Translation Studies 13-2, pp. 65-80 People think that Korean and Japanese have similarity each other. Therefore, many Korean students don’t know that Japanese has pitch accent. This wrong recognition complicates the acquisition of the Japanese accent. This thesis analyzes Korean Japanese learners' listening and speaking ability of Japanese accent, from the perspective of accent education in the e-learning lecture of Korean-Japanese interpretation practice. Many Korean students have difficulty in "Heiban" accent in listening and speaking. And as a result of analysis, the correlation was recognized between speaking ability and listening ability of Japanese accent. Therefore, the training of listening to accent patterns improves the ability of speaking with right accent.
