Generally speaking, the Korean passives constitutes passive verbs, ‘eo jita’, ‘toeta’, ‘patta’ and ‘tanghata’ etc. Based on the analysis of three types of Korean passive voice, this paper mainly focuses on how the Korean passives corresponds with the Chinese ones and what rules can be postulated in relationship. Most of the 10 types of Korean passive sentences correspond with the Chinese passive sentences. But it seems that we cannot find any corresponding rules among them. Also, some types of Korean passive sentences can not be expressed in Chinese passive ways. In the case of Korean passive verbs with several different meanings, some of them can be expressed in Chinese, but some can not. For these reasons, Korean passive sentences and Chinese passive sentences should be compared one by one. Through the analysis of comparison of Korean passives constituted with ‘eo jita’ and ‘toeta’, ‘patta’, ‘tanghata’ and their Chinese expressions, correspondence can not be found, either. In brief, a conclusion can be drawn from the comparison that there is no close correspondence between Korean passive sentence and Chinese passive sentence.

한국어 피동 표현은 일반적으로 피동사에 의한 피동 표현, ‘어 지다’에 의한 피동 표현과 ‘되다’, ‘받다’와 ‘당하다’에 의한 피동 표현으로 나뉠 수 있다. 이와 같은 피동 표현들이 중국어로 어떻게 표현되는지와 중국어로 표현할 때 규칙성이 존재하는지 여부를 밝히는 것이 본고의 연구 목적이다. 의미적인 측면에서 볼 때 한국어 피동 표현은 중국어 일정한 표현 방식, 곧 피동 의미를 지닌 중국어 ‘被자문’으로 표현할 수 있다고 충분히 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 본고의 대조 결과를 통하여 우리의 이와 같은 기대와 어긋난 결과를 얻어냈다. 본고의 결론은 한국어 피동 표현은 중국어 ‘被자문’으로 정연하게 표현할 수 없다는 것이다. 한국어 피동사에 의한 피동 표현의 일부는 중국어 피동문으로 표현할 수 있으나 일부는 중국어 피동문으로 표현할 수 없다. 더 나아가서는 중국어 피동문으로 표현할 수 있는 그 일부의 피동 표현 중에도 일정한 규칙을 찾아내기 어려운 것이 사실이다. ‘어 지다’에 의한 피동 표현과 ‘되다’, ‘받다’와 ‘당하다’에 의한 피동 표현도 중국어로 표현할 때 역시 일관성을 찾아내지 못하고 있다.
