The purpose of this study is to clarify the influence of the application of copyright education program on the copyright literacy of the primary school student through developing the device which can measure the copyright literacy of the primary school students. The objects of this study are those students in the 2 classes who are in the 5th grade in M primary school, located in GoYang. We divided them into two groups: a group of experiment, and comparison. And there was no statistical difference between the two groups. We have applied this copyright education program to the experimental group during the assigned class time 10 class hours. Compared with this group, regular copyright education program has been applied to the comparison group during the regular class time. The results are as followings. First, after the program, the experimental group showed that there was a meaningful difference at the level of 1%, but no meaningful difference in the comparison group, which verifies that this copyright program has a positive effect on copyright literacy. Second, based on the result of the copyright literacy score between these two groups, there is a meaningful difference at the level of 1%, which also mean the same effect as mentioned in the above. In conclusion, this program for primary students has been proved to be effective in forming copyright literacy. Based on this thesis, considering the problems of copyright violations as serious social ones, the copyright program should be reflected in the curriculum and dealt with intensively in one subject for the primary school students.

이 연구는 초등학생들에게 적용할 저작권 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 초등학생의 저작권 소양을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여 저작권 교육 프로그램의 적용이 초등학생들의 저작권 소양에 미치는 효과를 구명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 고양시 M초등학교 5학년 2개 반을 실험반과 비교반으로 구성하였으며, 두 집단은 동질적임이 확인되었다. 실험 집단에는 10차시 분량의 저작권 교육 프로그램을 적용하였고, 비교집단에는 일반적인 교육과정 속에서 저작권 학습이 이루어졌다. 저작권 교육 프로그램을 적용한 후 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 저작권 교육 프로그램을 적용한 후 전후 저작권 소양 점수 비교에서 실험집단은 1% 수준에서 의미 있는 차이가 나타났으나 비교집단은 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 따라서 저작권 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 저작권 소양에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것이 검증되었다. 둘째, 저작권 교육 프로그램을 적용한 후 실험집단과 비교집단의 좌우 저작권 소양 점수를 검증한 결과 1% 수준에서 의미 있는 차이가 나타나 저작권 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 저작권 소양에 긍정적임이 검증되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 초등학생의 저작권 소양 형성을 위하여 저작권 교육 프로그램을 집중적이고 꾸준하게 적용하는 것이 필요함을 알 수 있다.
