This study aims to investigate the possibility of application of multiple intelligences theory to moral education. The theory of multiple intelligences have been thought of as an alternative educational paradigm which can not only overcome uniform schooling problems, but also nourish the potentials of our students(or pupils) under the entrance exam system of Korea. Multiple intelligences theory, presented by Howard Gardner, is quite radical in itself. Nevertheless, it can play a useful role to effectively implement the national level curriculum, and in holistic education as well. Although moral intelligence doesn't exist in the list of multiple intelligences, there is close relationship between curriculum of moral education and multiple intelligences. Upon the basis of the affinity of multiple intelligences for multimedia, additionally, I will treat the team project activities as an example of teaching & learning model or performance assessment.

본 연구는 입시위주의 획일화된 중등교육에서 학생들의 잠재력을 최대한 이끌어 낼 수 있는 대안적인 교육 패러다임으로서 다중지능이론의 도덕교육적 적용 가능성 탐구를 목표로 한다. 가드너에 의해 제시된 다중지능이론은 성격상 매우 개혁적인 교육이론이다. 그러나 국가수준의 교육과정을 학교현장에서 효과적으로 수행하는 데 있어서도 유용한 이론이며, 특히 전인교육을 지향하는 도덕과 교육에서 활용도가 높은 이론이라 할 수 있다. 다중지능의 목록에 도덕 지능은 없더라도 도덕과 교육과정의 구현과 다중지능이론은 밀접한 관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어와 다중지능의 친화력에 근거하여 도덕과 수업모형이자 수행평가의 한 모델로서 UCC를 활용한 팀프로젝트 활동에 대해서도 다루고자 한다.
