Kinetic model for the batch production of succinic acid from glucose by production of succinic acid from glucose by

An efficient succinic acid producer, Mannheimia succiniciproducens, was isolated from bovine
rumen of Korean cow. Kinetic modeling of Mannheimia succiniciproducens during the batch
fermentation was carried out. The substrate inhibition and end-product inhibitions are
investigated through the kinetic model. Experimental validation of the model has shown that the
model matches well in all the cases making it possible to elucidate the fermentation
characteristics of M.succiniciproducens during efficient succinic acid production from
