Removal of parathion by the organophosphorus hydrolase from recombinant Escherichia coli

초록

영어

In the present work, biodegradation of parathion, that is an organophosphate compound, was investigated using an Oragnophosphorus Hydrolase (OPH) from recombinant Escherichia coli. The optimal conditions for enhanced OPH activity were founded. Under these conditions, the OPH activity was 3349 unit/L. Also, 94 % of 2 mM parathion was degraded into paraoxon and p-nitrophenol. The results can be applied to the bioremediation technology for removal of organophosphates.
