Application of Food Waste Water as External Carbon Source in Denitrification Process

초록

영어

This study is purpose to treatment of high total nitrogen from leachate discharged from G-city J sanitary landfill facilities by denitrification process using food waste water as external carbon source. The leachate is contained high total nitrogen ingredients and low organic ingredients. However, food waste water is contained high suspended solids and the high organic ingredients.
Therefore, the food waste water is very useful as external carbon source when mixed with food waste water and leachate. We carried out the denitrification process, which applied to food waste water as external carbon source and used methanol as a comparison. As a result, the removing efficiency of total nitrogen ingredient achieved to about 97% and 20% when applied to food waste water and methanol, respectively.
