This study is mainly focused on objective evaluating the influence of the e-NIE activities on the
elementary students' ICT competence which is considered as a critical feature in contemporary society.
An e-NIE site which is covering 5 domains of ICT competence was constructed to support the
students' e-NIE activities. An ICT competence evaluating questionaire was made to confirm the result of the e-NIE activities and the evaluation and the analysis were performed before and after the e-NIE activities. The result shows that the e-NIE activities can enhance elementary students' ICT competence.

본 연구에서는 학생들의 ICT 능력이 중요시되고 있는 현 시점에서 웹 신문을 활용한 교육(e-NIE) 활동을 수행했을 때 특히 초등학생들의 ICT 소양능력에 어떠한 영향을 줄 수 있는지 객관적인 평가를 하는데 주안점을 두었다. 연구내용을 요약하면 우선 ICT 소양교육 5개영역을 반영한 e-NIE 사이트를 구축하여 학생들이 수업시간에 e-NIE 활동을 수행할 수 있도록 지원하였으며, 두번째 e-NIE 활동의 효과를 알아보기 위해 ICT 소양능력 평가지를 제작하여 e-NIE 활동 전과 후에 평가하고 결과를 분석하였다. 평가 결과는 초등학생들의 e-NIE 활동이 ICT소양능력을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보였다.
