Improvement Scheme of Auditorium Facilities of the Opera Houses

More than 20 years have passed since auditorium had been established in many cities in Korea after local autonomy has been set. Due to a changes user's demands in demands of users and old facilities, renovation has of the auditorium buildings has been constructed continually. This paper propose the guideline of the improvement of the facilities and quality of the cultural buildings including function of space, stage equipments, room acoustics and comfort of seats. Four different aspects were investigated and focused regarding the enhancement of the performance spaces of a opera house.
