In this study, experimental research was carried out to evaluate and improve earthquake-resistant performance of the reinforced concrete beam-column joints using high ductile fiber composites mortar and advanced reinforcing detailing.
Three reinforced concrete beam-column joints were constructed and tested to evaluate the effect of test variables, such as the high ductile fiber composites mortar and advanced reinforcing detailing under load reversals. Test results show that specimen(BCJIP, BCJP) designed by the improvement of earthquake-resistant performance and ductility were attained more load-carrying capacity and stable hysteretic behavior.
